Hello, is there anybody who can give me some hints a) how to tell the RandR subsystem about the rotate functionality of the i830 driver and b) how to obtain information from RandR about user requests for rotations.
I really tried hard - but I failed to get behind those secrets ;-( As attachment a slightly modified i830_driver.c, since my version from 18 Jun crashed the RandR system whenever the rotation option was active at Xserver start. Helmar
