part of the code, does it show or disappear? If it disappears try doing an
import.
Excel has some strange behaviour on so called string fields (to you it looks
like a striong field but not to excel, not until you put the ' on the
front), I kinda remember something similar with another customer but I think
in the end couldnt get the excel to except the field as string so did it via
csv (which is faster I think also).

Yah , i checked the format of the cells are as
required. But still its not allowing the vendor codes.
Its entering as blank.
