We are using the SAME version. As I see it, using 0 for input and 2 for output should work for you.
It it does not, I am afraid it is a strange Windows quirk.... Anyway, check for conflicts (address and IRQ) and in configuration --> system, make sure you haven't got a yellow question mark...
