New release of FDMDV Digital Voice A new verion of the Amateur Radio digital voice software FDMDV is available.
FDMDV version 6-Jan-2008 is now out of beta testing and proves to be stable. It includes various fixes related to incompatibility with different soundcards and PCs. On some PCs there were soundcard problems with the 48K sample rate; this release fixes those issues. FDMDV is remarkable in that in fits a digital voice signal into just 1100 Hz, less than half the bandwidth required by SSB. It is recommended that all users upgrade to this latest version.
