I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the GNUstep version of Emacs had a weird bug when using GSScaleFactor != 1. The contents of the window appeared to be drawing at an origin that wasn't within the bounds of the window. I was never sure if this was a bug in Emacs or GNUstep. Unfortunately I can't convince GNUstep Emacs to build on my machine at the moment... -- Alan Third
