Hi Sophie, we on the de-ml are discussing what and who should be listed exactly on the new "credits" page on the wiki. Well, you know, we have many people in the DE project working in special areas of LibO (e.g. Andreas Timar with the extension page, the dmath project, cloph, Florian and Alex for the servers and other stuff, and so on) Some have argued that only persons should be listed that are not on the existing credits page (that would be rather strange as somebody could easily listed as developer and as wiki contributor...) What was the original intension of this page?
The original intention is to list those people who are listed nowhere and we want to thank them however. In my opinion we should be relaxed on listing people more than one time because they participate to several areas. This page also reflects the NLP teams in some ways. For example, in the FR team, I know that some people are listed as wiki contributors and are in the BTY page too, because they feel part to the FR team as listed on the page. So I don't want to be strict, on the contrary, and that's why the areas of contributions are added near the names. I prefer having one contributor listed 2 or 3 times on different listings than none :) Let me know if you have other questions.
