Mario, Sorry, I'm still not too sure what you're asking. JQuery is able to interface with any server-side language (eg PHP) via AJAX to give you functionality such as autocomplete etc. The PHP and Ajax book sounds like a good place to start :). Also look at www.jquery.com in the documentation under Ajax to see how it works.
