Warning: Top posted to comply with what already has been started: Hi Peter,
I'll make a note to submit an issue but I'm waiting first to see some sort of acceptance/refusal of an issue I already submitted: I had to send a couple of files directly instead of attached as usual to the Issue (file size) and I'm waiting to see that they were accepted before I do anything else. I'm a newbie to OOo and submitting issues so it's just an attempt at making sure things go right before I create more than one "mess"<g>. Oh, and yes I had chosen the Word filter. Being a newbie I'm also trying to make certain it isn't just plain old cockpit error. Thanks much, Twayne > Hi Twayne, > > I assume you already tried to explicitly choose the MS Word filter > when opening the file. Right? Different to MS Office comes as one > single application.
