Also in response to dean's suggestion to try to determine what type of
file it is by digging deeper... that ain't so easy to do. Tried it
once and gave up due to complexity. I did end up invoking the virus
scanner on a file and limited the extension on the backend. So if
someone tried to upload some crazy file it just deleted it and
notified them that there was a problem.

To filter the client side use the flash widget, i think you can also
use that upload widget in CF's flash forms. I do remember that there
is a hack to get it to work in CF 7. It was available from the
asfusion folks though.
