Dear lazyweb, I'm thinking about starting tinkering with BGP, probably on pfSense. Should I at all bother if the firewall only has 2 GByte of RAM?
What's the procedure, do I contact my LIR whether they would give me IPv4/IPv6 space they trust me to administer with BGP? What kind of authentication will the BGP need, and how difficult is it to screw up (not just for me, I can recover from that -- I worry about screwing up somebody else's routes). -- Eugen* Leitl leitl http://leitl.org ______________________________________________________________ ICBM: 48.07100, 11.36820 http://www.ativel.com http://postbiota.org 8B29F6BE: 099D 78BA 2FD3 B014 B08A 7779 75B0 2443 8B29 F6BE --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: discussion-unsubscr...@pfsense.com For additional commands, e-mail: discussion-h...@pfsense.com Commercial support available - https://portal.pfsense.org
