Hey, Talking about hamakor membership reminded me of something I wanted to offer a while ago but forgot. There are various people working on promoting opensource in israel. I think we should have some procedure of offering this kind of people membership of honour (either as yedidim or as full membership) which means they get to be members without paying anything. I think it's relatively cheap thing to do and might help to make the connection of hamakor with the community stronger. It might even be done in some ceremony or so.
