Hi,
Following this thread on the user-mailing list:
https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=4581497&forum_id=28703
https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=4581498&forum_id=28703
, I am still not convinced by the proposed solutions,
because these imply usage of jstl and/or struts, which
we don't use in our application.
So what I propose would be a simple ColumnTitleDecorator.
It could have an interface as simple as:
public interface ColumnTitleDecorator {
public String getColumnTitle(String title);
}
where the title string passed to the method would be
the one set as blah in <display:column title="blah">.
This could also extend TableDecorator, as far as i'm
concerned. (since all our decorator classes extend from
a custom base one)
This would allow people to plug in whatever i18n system
they use, very easily.
If you guys like this but have no time to implement it,
I could probably find some time later this month or
somewhere in june to provide a patch for this.
Cheers,
