Saving checkboxes selections between pages when paging

Hi, I want to ask you if displaytag has a feature to Save checkboxes
selections between pages when paging , or if you could tell me a way to do so.
I am using external pagination and I have a column with checkboxes, the app
needs to know what the user check in the previous page, so when the user clicks
a button the list of checked items are display.
