Spaces between words are getting truncated while displaying using display tag.

After retrieving data from Database, for example: "testing
123" is the string retrieved from database. we are
using <display:column> tag to display this value. But the value that appears is
"testing 123". Please can someone help me in resolving this issue. Its very
urgent.
