This is not possible today as far as I know. But you can to this

Define a variable containing the string from the appl. resource file:

<bean:define id="lcompanyName"><bean:message
key="web.summarymargin.companyname.column"/></bean:define>

Use the variable in your displaytag:

<display:column title="<%=lcompanyName%>"
property="companyName" sort="true"
align="left" headerClass="sortable"
width="20%"/>
