No idea.  I have a few questions that I've answered repeatedly and that
others on the list have contributed.  I'm going to compile those
and--voila--a FAQ.  If they want to put it on the displaytag site, then

In general, for the implementation that I use for this type of function,
the specifics don't matter.  Using indexed properties is good though. 
You'll basically use the index to name each drop-down list and the
BeanUtils library to process the submitted values.

I'm writing this up in a separate e-mail, but I've been really short on
time recently and it's not the simplest thing you can do.  I'll try to get
to it this w/e.
