Hi, I'm using displaytag 1.2 and basic.msg.empty_list property works correctly. The only difference from your settings is that I didn't put my properties directly on JSP page than in my displaytag.property file. I suggest that you do this too. How to do that you can find in documentation in I18N part. And you are right for basic.msg.empty_list_row. It's typo in documentation.
