Guys, this has been covered before, multiple times. But once more, with feeling:

* The list is run through Google Groups, so Google's spam filtering is
what's applied.
* The way to train Google's spam filter is to use their spam-reporting
mechanism.
* The alternative to this is to start moderating the list, which would
be such an overwhelming task that it's logistically impossible, plus
the Django team doesn't want to end up creating a closed list where
people have to await approval to post, and so nobody bothers trying.
