Hello!! I want to use dnsadmin to administer my bind dnsserver.
I compiled it with this options: ./configure --disable-tinydnsdir --enable-cgibindir=/usr/lib/cgi-bin/ --enable-user=dnsadmin --enable-password=dnsadmin --enable-hostname=127.0.0.1 --enable-incdir=/usr/local/mysql/include/mysql/ --enable-libdir=/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql/ everything worked fine, unless the end of the "make install-strip" gave some errors. Because all the Programs in place and work fine, I thought it was because I used the --disable-tinydnsdir option. But so far, thats not the actually problem. After running dnsloadzone in my mysql database is the dnsadmin database. The entrys are right and it looks good. The Webinterface starts as it should, but ( and now comes the error ) I cant carry out anything. All I get is a "permission denied". I watched the logs of the mysql database and found out that there was no connection made. I cant find anything on the Website of inter7 to this topic. Are there any permissions which I must set or groups or users which I must create ????? The file "dnsadmin.acl" seems to be the one, but I did not get grid of the syntax. A sample config file would help. Please can anyone help me!!! Thanks in advance!! ciao Wolfgang
