hi,
i tried to set up dnsadmin, and i tried to import my existing bind datas.
first i tried dnsloadzone, but i saw, that it makes some mistake, if
there is a dot in the name it loads wrong (ie: in bind zone: "www.test
IN A x.x.x.x" will be www.test in database,
not www.test.domain.tld), and dnsdata segfault when i tried to dump
the db to the tinydns format, to use dnsadmin web interface.
after that to solve this i set up a tinydns and i loaded to it all my
zones with axfr, than i tried to use dnsloaddata, but it didn't load
any thing to my db, just droped tables and created new. also when i
tried to use it i got a lot of lines to my std out, maybe i should
pipe it somewhere, but where?
i also tried to re-compline dnsload* but i got errors ~20 like this:
/tmp/cc9FuvYc.o(.text+0x58): In function `mysql_get':
: undefined reference to `mysql_query'
has anyone a good and working solution to move my existing data to dnsadmin?

fyi: maybe it's new just for me, but i realized today that powerdns
can be configured to be an automatic slave, you can set up some ip
addresses, and if from this ip comes axfr it configures itself to be
slave
