How can the lessons of real-time online collaboration from the
military be leveraged for citizen involvement, parliamentary decision-
making, and inter-governmental collaboration?

Is anyone aware of use of these type of advanced real-time tools in
government?

Ezenia!'s InfoWorkSpace(TM) Selected by U.S. Joint Forces Command
Ezenia!'s Collaborative Software to be Fielded For Millennium
Challenge 2002

BURLINGTON, Mass., March 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ezenia! Inc.
(Nasdaq: EZEN - news), a leading provider of real-time collaboration
solutions for corporate and government networks and eBusiness, today
announced that InfoWorkSpace has been selected by the U.S. Joint
Forces Command (JFCOM) for its military exercise Millennium Challenge
'02 (MC 02). MC 02 is a major military integrating experiment that
will be conducted live, as a virtual field event, and is scheduled to
run during July and August 2002. MC 02 incorporates elements from all
military branches and special operations forces and is one of a
series of operations tests that examine the Rapid Decisive Operations
Warfighting concept.

Ezenia! will provide secure virtual team facilities, conferencing and
instant messaging capabilities to thousands of desktop participants
during the MC 02 exercise. Using InfoWorkSpace as the collaborative
solution, procured via the GSA schedules of Ezenia! partners such as
Criticom (http://www.criticom.com/) and Science Applications
International Corporation (http://www.saic.com/), personnel from U.S.

been accepted as the standard collaboration system by the Department

of intelligence personnel around the world in support of intelligence
and military operations have also deployed InfoWorkSpace to enable
planners and intelligence analysts to communicate more effectively.
In 2001, the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control,
Communications and Intelligence (ASDC3I) recognized InfoWorkSpace as
the only fully integrated, commercially available collaboration
software that meets all warfighter functional and interoperability
requirements.

``The selection of Ezenia! by JFCOM MC 02 represents a strong and
significant endorsement of the security, stability, quality and
effectiveness of the collaboration solution provided by
