*Main Purpose of Job:  *



The role of *Commission Analyst* will be part of the team which collaborates
with the sales teams to optimize their effectiveness by creating or
enhancing sales processes, driving innovation and striving for excellence in
'best practice'. In addition, the team acts as a central communications hub
for all commercially focused departments on behalf of the Life Sciences
Business Unit as well as providing knowledge, training and support for all
business tools and processes.



The primary responsibilities of the Commission Analyst include; interpreting
commission plans, developing commission templates, generating performance
reports, and calculating commissions.

The role will be the primary contact for Sales & Finance for commission
issues.  The position will require the analyst to research and resolve
questions from field Sales Reps & Managers, to address audit questions
raised by Finance and ensuring Finance has all commission plans, commission
adjustments, etc.



*Main duties:*

·         Translate commission plans into financial models to calculate
commissions earned.

·         Maintain  reconciliations and records in compliance with SOX

·         Input into ongoing development of commission plan design and
proactively implement process improvement recommendations to simplify and
reduce complexity around commissions.

·         Provide reports and analysis on a wide range of performance-
related measures for Sales management and Sales teams.

·         Report commission data to Senior Sales Management.

·         Be a subject matter expert for Sales performance metrics (e.g.
Renewals, New Sales, President's Club, etc.).

·         Resolve any dispute that may arise with Senior Sales Management.

·         To take responsibility for identifying training and developmental
needs for yourself on an on-going basis.
*Qualifications*



*Skills/Experience:*

·         Relevant experience in sales/finance with general knowledge of
sales systems, processes and data analysis essential.  Knowledge of core
sales processes is preferable

·         Experience using Salesforce.com <http://salesforce.com/> desired

·         Strong analytical skills

·         Excellent IT skills: MS Office with knowledge of Excel (Must know
to do V-look ups and pivot tables)/ database management.

·         Adaptability, good time management and the ability to work under
pressure and can set priorities and are flexible in changing environment.

·         Ability to identify problems and apply creative solutions.

·         Confident, outgoing personality.

*Top Skills/Must haves:*

1.      Must be able to deal with Type A and Type B personalities

2.      Must be dedicated and to see tasks to the end (Inception to
completion).

*Years of Experience:* 2 to 3 years financial experience

*Education Requirement:*

Associates or Bachelors Degree- Would be a plus if financial background
