Hello there! I'm really glad to announce that our first update of Gondwana, the release 1.1, is now officially online :). I invite you to rush at the website and check that everything works fine. Note that I also opened public access to our web stats engine (http://stats.doudoulinux.org/), you can then easily watch how popular our work is.
Despite the low number of fixes and new features of this new release, I believe this is a new large step forward for our project since we're now available in 25 languages, which target between 3 and 4 billions people on earth, quite a lot! I'd like to thank all the people who took part to the effort and hope that many of you will stay around and continue to help the project grow. There is no real, multi-lingual, general public and general purpose children OS, DoudouLinux is the opportunity to fill this gap while promoting the free software spirit to children in their early ages.
