Tom:

   It looks like most (all) of the other addons have an installer that 
creates an "addons" folder in the Quick Search Deskbar program folder 
(eg. "C:\Program Files\Quick Search Deskbar\addons").  This folder isn't 
there by default (though I would argue that it should be) so you must 
create it.

Try this:

1) Create an "addons" folder in your Quick Search Deskbar folder then 
extract the iptools.zip file into there.  If done correctly you will end 
up with something like "C:\Program Files\Quick Search 
Deskbar\addons\iptools" and then 5 files in that folder.

2) Reload Deskbar (type ! in the Deskbar field then hit enter).

Let me know if you need more specific instructions.

To uninstall, simply delete that iptools folder and reload the Deskbar 
again.
