I was unable to figure out from the documentation if it is allowed to
have two nodes in dual primary configuration while sync is in progress.
Currently the status is as follows:

[>....................] sync'ed: 3.8% (246388/255992)M
Will both hosts see consistent data (i.e. from the SyncSource) during
the sync? Will writes from the SyncTarget also end up on the SyncSource?
Or will this lead to data corruption?
