Since I've time to burn...
Installed it (btw the installer not only requires root permission, but the
version without java requires a specific java version to be installed in a
specific location (btw a different location than is specified in the start.sh
script), that's not going to work for probably 99% of all cases and it certainly
didn't work for me, maybe you should consider putting the java3d stuff just in
the Virtual Universe directory).
Seems to run (the autoupdate failed on first try, but worked the second time).
No lockups. Despite the framerate showing 90fps, it stutters though a bit. Grass
also looks a bit strange (constantly moving). I also got a couple of exceptions
from time to time.
Oh, and I've just moved around, or am I supposed to do something else to get it
to lockup?
R9000pro agp, dri cvs from 3 days or so ago.
