At the Archive of the community of the city of Rotterdam we are evaluating DSpace to determine the usability to build a archive of digital record. To Archive small movies is one of the aims of the project. We encountered the next problem: We can submit a Mpeg2 file. We can play the Mpeg2 file directly from HD. But if we try to play the movie (on the same PC) using DSpace finding and accessing the file, the process fails. Does anyone has the same problem? I'm guessing, but you might get that problem if you don't tell DSpace the correct MIME type for your file.
