Could you give us some more details about the changes you made? Without
this information we cannot look for what may have gone wrong.

What metadata would you like to customise on the browse pages? Look at
the following section in dspace.cfg for the changes that you can make:
# Customise the DC fields to use in the item listing page. Elements
