Hi all,

I've been making some changes to the CSV batch editing - hopefully in time for
inclusion in version 1.8. See:

It involves an option to allow the state of items to be changed - 'in archive',
'withdrawn', 'deleted' (once deleted, cannot be un-deleted'). There are a few
ways this can be done, by allowing state changes to be made using verbs such as
'withdraw', or by using state descriptions such as 'withdrawn'.

There is also a discussion about if it is OK to ask for some combinations such
as to withdraw a withdrawn item. My personal opinion is that is OK - it is the
same as uploading a CSV with no changed metadata, nothing has changed, so no
action is required.

If you have an opinion on either of these, I'd appreciate some feedback either
directly to me, this list, or preferably the JIRA ticket.

Thanks,

Stuart Lewis
