We are running DSpace 1.7.1 and using XMLUI for the interface. On the item display page, there is a section headed "Related Items" with a subheading "Items By Author". We're curious about the logic being used to generate this list. It seems to include items by authors whose name contains any of the same components as the displayed item's author's name. For example, on the display of an item by Arthur Mitchell Fraas, the Related Items / Items By Author section lists items by Tazra Mitchell, William Mitchell, and Arthur Shaw, among others. Has anyone else seen something like this ... or could point me to a relevant section of the DSpace code. Thanks. --Jim
