1. Many of the existing entities are historical. A complete restructure of the DXCC list would be confusing and bring discredit to the whole set up.
2. Adding new entities to DXCC will make it like IOTA - you will never have anything to aim for because the list is ever growing.
3. If you've worked all the existing entities, well done. There are plenty more challenges in ham radio. Tried QRP DXCC?
4. Its only a hobby, don't get so worked up. If you're bored, find another interest.
So, let go back on the begining: KH8SI vs other similars at present time
(OH0,OJ0,R1MV,GD,GU,1A,....etc...)
IF other obeid rules to be DELETED then KH8SI is not new-one (is about 230
km from main land) - But If others stay on the list then KH8SI-Swain
island MUST be NEW-ONE.
By the LAW of DEMOCRACY, ALL of them must be equal to the present rules at
the time.
By now, deleting of some entities was only because of political changes, but not by any other criteria !!!
