There are several places where I can select my band preferences and modes of operation so the unused choices do not get in the way of my particular operating bands and modes. It minimizes wasted time and mistakes. So under STATION PREFERENCES, I can select the bands and modes I use. Also in PACKET 3.
But in the ENTRY WINDOW, I have to go through all the possible bands and modes when again I need to narrow them down to what I use in my particular operation. Did I miss the place where I can select my particular operating bands and modes, and not have the others in the way, in the entry window?.
