Hello Mats

Open the exported ADIF-fil in a text editor e.g. Notepad.

Change all
 <GRIDSQUARE: to <xGRIDSQUARE:
  by using find replace

save and import

xGRIDSQUARE: is not defined by ADIF. thus it will not be used in the import.
