Yes, I also use Macro Recorder to run a script to import the log from WSJT-X.
But it costs $50. There are some free key mapper apps available, but I could
never get them to work. Macro Recorder works great and is easy to setup.

Paul should provide a direct way to import WSJT-X QSOs into DX4WIN. We have
been asking for this feature for years. The simplest solution would be to use
UDP broadcast functions that are already supported in WSJT-X and other loggers
such as N1MM. It is a shame that Paul will not address this

As less elegant solution would be to provide a one key ability to initiate a
manual import of the WSJT-X file into DX4WIN. In Preferences, we should be
able to specify the location of the WSJT-X log file. We should then be able
to specify a hotkey that will initiate a direct import, but this would involve
importing the entire log file from WSJT-X and ignoring duplicates. This poor
man's version would at least eliminate the need for key mappers.

The best solution is for Paul to provide the automatic import of each QSO as it
is logged in WSJT-X via UDP broadcasts. This feature works beautifully between
WSJT-X and N1mm and many other general logging programs

To log WSJT-X contacts into DX4WIN:

I am using a separate program called Macro Recorder.

What it does is create a Macro that records all the moves one has to take to
manually import the WSJT-X Log into DX4WIN.

Once that is done (the creation of a specific Macro) it takes no more than a
few seconds to import into DX4WIN.

I have one button on the keyboard (in my case the UP button) that activates the
specific macro. You can see all the "moves" of the mouse and the various
windows as it runs through the steps to process it (importing the WSJT-X log
into DX4WIN).

Again, this all happens within a few seconds with one push of the UP button.

Keith;

How do you log to DX4WIN from WSJT-X? Manually? One of the reasons why I
stopped using DX4WIN was for the fact I couldn't figure out how to log my Q's
without having to import the log each and every time from WSJT-X.
