I would suggest going to FILE>SAVE AS and see what opens showing where your dxl
file is stored. It should show your SAVE file. I once saved my dxl file to a
thumb drive for a safety back up before going on a trip. After my trip I had a
situation like yours because the program was looking for the thumb drive. Once
I selected my SAVE drive the program was able to find my dxl file and opened
normally.

Hi Dick,

It sounds like a file permission problem. Try using "Save As" and give the
file a different name.
