Jens, You are right, of course, that two types of acounts, current and saving, so to say, would be the way to go. However, then e-gold runs the risk of having to prove that it is not enganging in banking business. On the other hand, there are already savings accounts available, if you will: You are talking about 1MDC.com It it in fact the savings account of e-gold as it were, and there is even a delay in transferring funds from 1MDC to the normal/current e-gold account. So people can have it both ways without e-gold having to change anything, after all. And security, coupled with costs is why we move e-gold surpluses into 1MDC.com every week. The account number issue is a bit unfortunate, of course - but it is easier (and faster) on the system in this way. Btw. that is the reason why CF$ uses email addresses as account identifiers - as does PayPal (shudder) and others.
