I noticed on the Amstrad E3 Video Phone that the Services on the home screen
change with every update of the Main Software so V1 is different to V2 and so
on so if you were look for a version you could spot it easterly by the service
on the home screen. I own a V2,V4 and V5. I am trying to get photos of the E3
home screen of each Main Software version so V1,V2,V3,V4 and V5, I have
V2,V4,V5, need V1 and V3 anyone can help...?

Probably will be hard it get a V1 photo of the E3 Home Screen..

All you need is a PS/2 Adapter and plug the 4 wires from the Mailboard into it
and it works fine just needs mapping.

Posted about it here…

Its funny realy Android is Linux and the E3 run on Linux… 😊

I am using a app called Keyboard/Button Mapper its on Google Play got it from
XDA,It works but the keys don’t work properly in games or Emulators so just
looked it up and I need to make a .kl Keyboard layout file for it so it knows
where the keys are.
Anyone made a keyboard layout file, it works the same way in Linux, Android
uses the same layout files..? this is the app…

Ok just relised you answered this question already.. 😊

The Mailboard a good little keyboard for Android… 😊 If I manage to make a key
file for it and it works I shear it here if anyone wants to use there's with
Android.

Hi Nick,

That's more of an Android question, you may be better off asking
somewhere else. Google suggests things like
https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpyra-handheld.com%2Fboards%2Fthreads%2Ftutorial-how-to-remap-android-hardware-keys.69593%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7C5fb615a9f08b4ef2c9b808d726e9fb70%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637020658691998236&sdata=cM3isLd%2FMsP760WSWNHJdCfBwZ4ehsZinGlbTykWzv4%3D&reserved=0
so it looks possible.
