Modifying the code while running the emulator is a pretty important part of the development process -- if the solution is as simple as making a temporary copy for emulation, I say go for it. I don't mind deleting .eclipseme.tmp manually once in a while to clean out the attic. I assume each emulation will get its own temp jar/jad?
