When I comment on a dream, I need every last detail of it, including colors of things in the dream, and your feelings of things while you were dreaming about them. I need to know everything as if you were trying to explain a story or movie to me in exact detail, as it happened, leaving nothing out. I don't think that there is some blanket statement meaning that someone can say "Owls mean such-and-such." Dream symobols are different depending on the person's perception of these things, and depending of the context, and of your feelings in the dream.
