Regardless of the standard (and don't everybody yell at me) you need to
determine what your trading partner requires for the CTT02, as they're the ones
you're trying to get to pay you.

When I set my Gentran Trading partner record to
give me CTT01 and CTT02 then it looks like CTT02 comes
out to be the sum of the absolute values of the IT102's.
It's always positive. This seems to agree with my standards
book which says that CTT02 Hash Total is a "Sum of values of the
specified data element. All values in the data element will be
summed without regard to decimal points (explicit or implicit)
or signs." I'm having this map converted by a GXS mapper and
am getting negative values in some CTT02's. So according to the
standard can it be negative? Thanks for any thoughts. TS
