You can:

1. login on the server and create an account in the thin client image:
        sudo chroot /opt/ltsp/i386/ adduser robs

2. go to any thin client, hit <ctrl><alt><F1> and login with the above
   account details.

3. run ifconfig, lspci, dmesg, look in /var/log/ etc.
