I'm not sure what exactly you want to know - there are two aspects to support some specific processor architecture: - Support in the development tool chain (i. e. cross compiler, native tools, libraries): here you can yuse the existing code, nothing new needs to be added - Support for the processor and especially your board in the boot loader (U-Boot) and the OS (Linux) running on the board: this is independent of the ELDK, i. e. youc an use any U-Boot and/or Linux kernel source tree that has board support for your hardware (sometimes called a "BSP") included. Again, nothing needs to be added to the ELDK. So there are no plans to change anything to support he MPC8306, because no changes are required. [There is, on the other hand, work going on for ELDK 5.0, but that is a different story.] Best regards, Wolfgang Denk -- DENX Software Engineering GmbH, MD: Wolfgang Denk & Detlev Zundel HRB 165235 Munich, Office: Kirchenstr.5, D-82194 Groebenzell, Germany Phone: (+49)-8142-66989-10 Fax: (+49)-8142-66989-80 Email: w...@denx.de 1000 pains = 1 Megahertz _______________________________________________ eldk mailing list eldk@lists.denx.de http://lists.denx.de/mailman/listinfo/eldk
