After the damage experience when carelessly placing a hot soldering iron in the wrong place, I would move the installation of the key caps from the top of page 26 (with fig 5-8) to page 31, to be done after installing the 4 wires needed for connecting Z1, the optical encoder and before the removal of the protective film from the LCD. The caps are then in place just before the front panel PC board and the front panel are assembled together. Bob, G3VVT K2 #4168
