If I understand your board swapping correctly, you have proven that the
Control Board (but not the MCU - U6) is producing the problem.
I suggest doing the Control Board DC Voltage measurements in appendix E
of the manual. Do mind the setup notes at the top of the DC Voltage Table.
Please clarify - in the beginning, you said "no frequency display", but
later, you mentioned a display of "0.000.00 or 15.999.99". Please tell
us if the display is blank or just incorrect - 0.000.00 is a display of
zero frequency, That IS a display of something even though incorrect
("no frequency display" is blank).
If an incorrect frequency display is your problem, try a Direct
Frequency Entry for each amateur band (use a mid-band frequency).
