Jerry, Just a suggestion for headphone usage in general -- regardless of the equipment into which they are being plugged: Never plug headphones into any device, while they are in place over your ears. I use headphones extensively here, for both ham radio and general music listening, and I learned my lesson many years ago. I always plug them into the source device while they are resting on the table top or around my neck resting on my shoulders. If the source volume is way too loud, you'll find out well before it becomes startling/painful to your ears. None of this is probably news to you -- just a reminder ;-)
