Fred, The webpage for the MRP40-SDR software indicates it is looking for a radio with IQ signal outputs. The KX3 has this. The K3 does not (natively). However, a K3 equipped with an XV3(or XV3A), plus an LP-Pan, SoftRock, or other IF to IQ "baseband" output would seem to be acceptable. (It is also possible to bring the IF signal out of a K3 without the transverter interface).
