MY error indeed,,, having not been using VOX ... I had not correctly set up my micookeyer properly,,, I got that fixed..
Also have learned that my great little Shure 514 hand mic.. ( used for testing ) is wired to short the audio output till you PTT.!! So my testing with the mic was misleading me. TNX for Elecraft management for emailing some ideas,.,,, the K3 was / is working perfectly....
