Randy, I can do the same thing by holding REV and dialing around with VFO A. Certainly not as convenient as having a subRX but it works. To make sure I don’t accidentally lose the DX's frequency, I lock VFO A first. Yes, I am amazed and shocked at the horrible operating practices I now see. I weep. :( 73.
