Bill,

I have a Diamond trunk lid mount that fits nicely on the upper edge of the 
spare tire mount. It attaches with two fairly sharp pointed set screws -- I 
sanded a little bare spot for ground contact, then applied touch up paint 
around the seam to seal it. 

Feed line is about 6 feet of RG-174 built into the mount, that passes easily 
over the hatch gasket. The mount itself is a standard 3/8" thread.

The mount has been on the car for about five years, still works well and has 
good ground. 

I will go look up the Diamond model number tonight and let you know.
