Hi, Johnny: I haven't tried it. I have worked with enough overtone oscillators enough to know they can be very cranky things if not set up right. The usual method involves putting an inductor in series with the crystal or a trimmer capacitor across it. Perhaps there are some engineers on the reflector here who can offer more specific advice.
